The Grayslake Central High School Athletic Booster Club was started in 1981 by parents and friends interested in enhancing the athletic programs at GCHS. The Booster Club is not, however, exclusively for athletes and their parents. Many of our members are people who enjoy and support high school athletics yet may have no student participating. Our goal is to generate funds that may be used to purchase items that enhance our athletic programs. Some of our purchases over the past few years include:

• Weight room equipment

• Track / Cross Country Tents

• Sheds for Tennis

• Training software

• "GCHS" & "RAMS" lettering on new athletic field

• and more!

We raise money for all sports and we need help from parents of all GCHS athletes. Most of our money is generated by concession stands that are operated by volunteers. We also sell letter jackets and other wearable items, and host our annual "Hoops Fest" basketball tournament for Junior High level students each year in March.

Without the help of our athletic parents, none of this would be possible. We encourage all parents of our athletes to get involved with the Booster Club. Not only are you helping your children and the athletic programs, but it's a great way to get to know fellow parents and your child's coaches and teachers. Please consider signing up as a volunteer as we can use all the help we can get! You are also welcome to attend our monthly Booster Club meetings held the 4^th Monday of the month at 7:00 PM in the Staff Center (Room 1350) at GCHS. We look forward to meeting you!
